On 3 February in via Isonzo in Turin, imperia ® was officially incorporated as the evolution of a small artisan workshop. Industrial-scale production and distribution of Imperia model machines began immediately throughout the world. Over the years, the main reference market became that of the United States of America where many Italian emigrants, thanks to the use of pasta machines, re-established sentimental link with their far off.

1932
The 1950s
The titania ® model with integrated cuts is designed. Post-war commercial development brought the imperia ® machine to over 80 countries around the world.
The 1960s
On 14 April 1962 imperia ® and titania ® were internationally registered as a trademark.
The 1980s
imperia ® continues its expansion. The employees become over 100.
- In 1981 the Ancona family (current owners of the Imperia & Monferrina Spa) took control of the company.
- In 1985, AEPI, a manufacturer of household electrical appliances and accessories, was taken over.
The 1990s
In 1992 the production plant moved to Sant’Ambrogio di Torino with the aim of expanding the production area and warehouse.
In 1998, FISELDEM, manufacturer of tomato squeezers and other accessories, was acquired.
The 2000s
In 2010 imperia ® acquired Monferrina S.r.l, a company based in Asti that manufactures professional machines and industrial systems for the production of fresh and dry pasta. The facility is based in Castell’Alfero (AT).
In 2012 all production was transferred to Castell’Alfero (AT) while the warehouse and part of the offices were transferred to the new and modern factory in Moncalieri (To).
Today the Imperia & Monferrina S.p.A group satisfies the entire production cycle of fresh pasta from machines for home use up to an industrial production of over 200 kg/h.
In 2021 the company registered to the directory of MISE (Ministry of Business and Made in Italy) the imperia ® and titania ® brands as historic brands of national interest.
